Kontroverze i Igre godine
Pre samog događaja, bilo je kontroverzi zbog nominacije DLC-a Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree u kategoriji Igre godine. Mnogi su smatrali da DLC ne bi trebalo da bude nominovan u ovoj kategoriji, jer nije potpuno nova igra, a osećaj je da su sudije i igrači to prepoznali i ova igra nije dobila ni jednu nagradu.
