Although the main story isn't particularly long, completing it unlocks a large collection of hidden bonus cases that must be discovered through secret codes and additional clues. These extra investigations significantly extend the game's longevity and provide an excellent challenge for players who simply can't get enough deduction.

Its Greatest Strength Is Its Simplicity

One of the things I enjoyed most is that the game never tries to be something it isn't.

There's no oversized inventory, no complicated progression systems, and no lengthy cinematic cutscenes. Everything revolves around solving clever logic puzzles.

As a result, every case feels clean, focused, and rewarding, while every successful solution genuinely feels like your own accomplishment. The excellent jazz soundtrack and beautiful hand-drawn visuals further enhance the experience, creating a relaxing atmosphere from beginning to end.

It's Not for Everyone

As enjoyable as Case Solved: The London Files is, it isn't without flaws.

The main campaign can be completed in just a few hours, meaning players who don't explore the bonus content may find the experience somewhat short.

It's also important to remember that this isn't a traditional detective adventure. If you're expecting interrogations, extensive investigations, dialogue-heavy storytelling, or large environments to explore, you'll find very little of that here. The focus remains firmly on solving logic puzzles. Occasionally, some clues also feel slightly inconsistent, leading to brief moments of frustration while searching for the correct solution.
